No growth hormones, implants or antibiotics are used in our livestock program. The animals are free of the numerous by products and medications fed to mainstream feedlot beef. Of course any animal requiring medical attention is always treated and if antibiotics are required, this animal is removed from the organic program and sold on the conventional market. However, because the animals live stress-free lives in a natural environment, cows calve in warm weather and they all eat healthy food, it is very rare that one needs treatment. This natural way of raising animals produces a tender, juicy meat containing the healthy fat “omega-3 essential fatty acid” and conjugated linoleic acid or CLA. Both are extremely important to your good Health
